Summer Academy Course for Young Journalists

The International Institute for Journalism (IIJ) of GIZ, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH, is now accepting applications for its "Freedom and Responsibility in the Media" Summer Academy course for young journalists from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Laos, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

 

 

The course, which is scheduled to hold in Hamburg, Germany from July 17 to August 12, is aimed at promoting media freedom and ethics among young up-and-coming journalists. It would also provide a unique opportunity to broaden their knowledge on press freedom, as well as provide a platform for discussion on ethical standards.
