Golden Shipping Company Limited, a subsidiary of Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, accepting applications from suitable individuals to fill vacancies in four of its departments:

1. Shipping Operations Manager

2. Talent Development Manager

3. Wheat Operations Manager

4. Senior Financial Analyst

1. Shipping Operations Manager

Task: 

• Reporting to deputy managing director.
• Performs and deals with day to day operations in an efficient and timely manner, minimizing operational costs and controlling vessel efficiency to ensure that the overall performance is in line with the company's expectations
• Ensures discharge sequence is in line with International Maritime Organization rules and regulations
• Coordinate ship surveys and reports appropriately

Requirements:

• Must be a Class 1 Master Mariner Certificate of competency holder and have shore based experience in operational management positions of not less than 7 years
• Must have a good knowledge of port and shipping operations 
• Be conversant with vessels inward and outward clearance with relevant maritime agencies in Nigeria
• Must be a good team player and good interpersonal and leadership skills

2. Talent Development Manager

Task:

• To develop policy, process and initiatives to meet company's aspirations on talent attraction, tetention and management, career planning and development, succession planning and executive management development in line with the talent/learning and development strategies.
• Assessing talent readiness and translate to talent development plan
• Identifying critical jobs for optional business development

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree, possession of Master's degree and/or Professional Certification would be added advantage
• Minimum of 7 years working experience in a similar role

3. Wheat Operations Manager

Task:

• Reporting to the Flour Operations Director
• Managing the handling of bulk wheat from ship discharge to supply in the mills and from bulk loading to varied demands in volume and specifications
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene, housekeeping and operational efficiency within the wheat transfer system and head house facility

Requirements:

• Minmum of B.Sc degree in Engineering
• Minimum of five years working experience in an automated fast moving 24/7 production environment
• Computer literacy and knowledge of use of PLC operating system is also necessary

4. Senior Financial Analyst

Task:

• Reporting to the manager, budget and planning
• Responsible for modeling and running the annual operating plan, monitoring and reporting CAPEX and other project costing
• Dealing with mergers and acquisition

Requirements:

• Minimum B.Sc degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of five years experience required
• Must be conversant with the use of Microsoft Excel Package and financial analysts/modelling tools
