Nigerian student found dead in Islamic University of Technology lake in Bangladesh

A Nigerian student has been found dead at the Islamic University of Technology in Gazipur, Bangladesh.
According to the Dhaka Tribune, the body of the late Tahir Mannir Adamu was recovered from the lake of the institution.
The 26-year-old was a third year student of the university's computer science department.
According to the Joydevpur police station Sub Inspector Quamrul Islam Adamu went to the lake alone for bathing, but could not swim, and so eventually got drowned in the lake.
Quamrul said, "He was unconscious when he was recovered from the lake but was declared dead when we arrived the Tongi Government Hospital."
"The university authority has ordered an inquiry into the incident and a case has been filed with Joydevpur police station," said IUT Registrar, Ahsan Habib.
