I'm alive and not held hostage in Mali, says Aliko Dangote

Nigeria's business mogul, Aliko Dangote has debunked news reports alleging that he is among the 170 held hostage at the hotel attacked by gunmen this morning.
Gunmen suspected to be Islamist terrorists posing as jihadists took about 170 people hostage after they attacked Radisson Blu Hotel, a five-star hotel in Bamako, capital of Mali. Dangote was suspected to have been among the hostages.
It is also reported that the gunmen have released some hostages who could recite verses of the Quran.
Dangote went on twitter to debunk the rumour.
Rumour about me being held hostage is false. I was in Mali yesterday.Thank you for your concern. My prayers with those involved.
