With the continuing threat of Ebola in Liberia, President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has announced that the Liberian government is shutting down all schools across the country as part of concerted efforts to check the spread of the dreaded Ebola virus.
The president also added that some communities would be placed under quarantine.
Meanwhile, non-essential government workers will also be sent home for 30 days, while the army would be deployed in most part of the communities, with an aim of enforcing the measures announced by the Liberian government.
