Bauchi governor, Isa Yuguda, sacks SSG, chief of staff

Gov. Isa Yuguda of Bauchi State has sacked Ahmed Ibrahim Dandija, the Secretary to the State Government, and Musa Gumli, the Chief of Staff Government House.

Aminu Hammayo who is currently the Commissioner of Lands and Survey is now the new SSG.

A statement by Ishola Michael Adeyemi, the Chief Press Secretary for the Governor, on Tuesday, noted that the appointment was with immediate effect.

Hammayo who is also overseeing the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning will continue to oversee the two Ministries while serving as SSG.

Abdulkadir Ibrahim Mohammed as the new Chief of Staff.

Mohammed, who is currently the Commissioner of Animal Resources and Nomadic Resettlement, will continue to oversee the activities of the Ministry.

No reason for the development was given.

Dandija had served as SSG for seven years, while Gumli served as Chief of Staff for three years.
