2012 China-United States Journalists Exchange Launched
The East-West Center has announced the 2012 China-United States Journalists Exchange journalism program for print, broadcast and online journalists with at least five years of experience from the United States and China. Scheduled to hold November 23-December 8, 2012, it will focus on the growing importance of China-US relations in global affairs and the global economy.
The program will provide opportunities for Chinese and US journalists to explore the dynamics of US-China relations, as well as economic, social, cultural and political impacts in China and the United States. Accepted participants will meet with government and business leaders, academics, journalists, non-governmental organizations and other members of Chinese and American communities.
The program, which is organized in collaboration with the All-China Journalists Association and the Better Hong Kong Foundation, will begin with all participants meeting in Honolulu for a 2-day dialogue after their study tours. The program will cover all air transportation, lodging, and program-related ground transportation and meals for participating journalists.

- Current resume or curriculum vitae (no more than 2 pages)
- Cover letter outlining specific issues of interest and goals you would expect to accomplish
- Names and contact information for three references
- Completed Applicant Information Cover Sheet (please be sure to save a copy to your computer using "save as" before typing in any content)
